This riad appears in many books on Marrakesh and especially in “ Demeures et Jardins secrets de Marrakech” (page 92 under the nam of “Dar Sabbane”).
In this ancient palace, there are three suits with 4 bathrooms and several indoor and outdoor sitting rooms, here is the descriptive :
At the ground floor, the fountain is surrounded by banana trees and bougainvilleas , and reception rooms all around, they are made of :
- The main sitting room with a chimney
- A little sitting room for reading and another for TV
- A dining room
- WC with a sink for guests.
This patio leads to a backyard where there is a heated swimming pool, a massage room and a little traditional hammam.
Upstairs, there are the suites, each of two or three rooms :
