How to get to Ryad Esmeralda ?

Simply call a "small" taxi (petit taxi) that will take you there: Just say to the driver: “To the tomb of Sidi Benslimane”. You will then have to walk for 5 minutes through a maze of derbs (alleys). This walk will cause a real culture shock as you enter a different world that will appear infinitely complex, but colourful and fascinating.

How shall I find my way around?

This will be your first question. In fact, "there is no problem" as Moroccans will say and it is true that all problems are solved with the help of kind people if you show patience. You just forget time exists, the moment you leave your plane or car.

When you get to the district of Sidi Benslimane you will meet scores of children who will tell you where Ryad Esméralda is located, even in the evening or at night. At the end of this picturesque stroll, Ryad Esmeralda will deliver its mysteries : you will penetrate into a haven of peace, a harmonious universe which is hard to imagine in such surroundings.

The five suites and rooms open onto an Andalusian patio full of greenery and water, where the smell of jasmine, roses and lime mingle with the spicy fragrances wafting from the kitchen.

The helpful and devoted staff in Ryad Esmeralda will be ready to assist you to make your stay pleasant both within the ryad (meals on the spot, steam baths and massages) and outside where they will show you around the medina and help you plan your walks and outings to visit the great sites in and around Marrakech. The 3 suites and the 2 rooms have a private bathroom. The suites also have a living room with a fireplace.
